Inside Dining Remains Closed

We plan to open inside dining again, soon, but we’ll wait for things to be “more normal.”   We expect that to be after May 31, when Governor Kemp’s social-distancing mandate expires.

Curb Service is Open until Midnight, Every-night.  Call-in a Take-Out or Order Online at https://careyhilliards.com/locations/

Missing our Inside Diners Dearly

Inside-dining provides that social aspect-like running into neighbors and friends at lunch.  We miss that.  In the meantime, we’re prepping the inside for re-opening.

Covid-19 by the Numbers

Chatham County has been spared (largely) from Covid infections.

As of today, here are the numbers:

Chatham Co:  361 cases; 14 deaths.

Georgia:  37,552; 1,609 deaths.

US:  1.55M; 91,582 deaths.

Resiliency of Savannah

Just like weathering a hurricane and other stressful times, when normal life abates, the people of Savannah, and the state of Georgia, bounce back quickly…always.  I think what explains that, is the close-knit community.  We support each other.  If you’re stressed, take a look at the beautiful salt-marsh setting, or drive out to Tybee.

We’ll get through this soon enough.  I hope the next Blog will be about re-opening the inside.
